Finally she let me out! After nearly two days stuffed in her carryon backpack and 24 hours home alone at Solas Bridhe I got to go to an extremely important place for we otter folk.

We were very special to Saint Kevin who lived at Glendalough which was where we were headed. Let me tell you a story:

“One day after Kevin retired to his hermit’s cell, he was praying his Psalter.  Lost in prayer, he dropped the precious book into the water of the upper lake. Kevin was distraught; the book was dear to him.  As he lamented his loss, an otter retrieved the Psalter from the bottom of the lake and brought it to him. Not one letter was smudged, nor any page ruined.”[1]

I can tell you it was a great feeling to sit by that lake and remember how closely all beings are connected.
