Monthly Reflections at St. Theodore's
Hearth Gatherings : Encounters with mystics who can light our way.
You are invited to join others who are seeking to deepen their relationship with the One who creates, restores, and sustains us.
Monthly gatherings are held on the first Saturday between 11am and 2 pm at St. Theodore's Anglican Church, 46 Prescott Terrace, Toorak Gardens. We are able to use the Church, Quiet Garden and Small Hall.

The cost which includes tea, coffee and light refreshments is $25. Payment can be made by card or cash on the day,
The hearth gatherings story
I first became interested in the mystics when I made two retreats at Sevenhill Retreat Centre with the late Tim Deslandes. After completing my Master of Arts in Spiritual Direction and gradually moving towards retirement from my career in rural and regional planning I dipped my toe into giving retreats introducing the mystics to those seeking to grow into a deeper relationship with God.
In 2013 during the 40 day retreat with the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, I experienced an overwhelming sense of myself as God's Beloved and realised that nothing I had ever done or could do would stop God from loving me. This has become my ministry. I do what I do because I want every person to know that they are inconditionally loved by The One who creates, redeems and sustains us. The hearth gathers us and together we support each other on our pilgrim journry.
